Meet the owners: Meet the owners: Yep! These are "THE BIG GUYS!" (aka: Old Farts, Grandpa, Baldy, The Bearded One. All names apply equally to each of them.
Clyde Snider
info@arcastudios.com
Clyde's the Chairman of the Board and 50% owner of
ARCA; he also happens to be a great producer. Make that "Award-Winning Producer." He has produced countless spots which have won Addy Awards from coast to coast and a Silver Microphone Award. A gospel record album (really, as in vinyl) he produced and engineered in the late 1970's contained a song which was nominated for a Grammy.
Clyde knows things about music most people don't
understand: what you can legally use, what you can't. In addition to being a great sound designer in the studio, Clyde has served as president of the Arkansas Advertising Federation and of Friends of KLRE/KUAR, the support group for local public radio.
Sometimes referred to as "The Lip" -- he's a member of The Natural State Brass Band, a British styled all-brass band. Clyde was recipient of the Arkansas Advertising Federation's Distinguished Service Award in 1991, and voted by the same group as Advertising Person of the Year in 1992.
Dick Marendt
info@arcastudios.com
Dick owns the other 50% of ARCA stock. If you're searching for "a believable voice," look no farther. (Listen to his demo). Got a complaint? Probably not. But if you ever hear of someone who does, tell them to talk to
Dick. He's the president. When he's not in the studio
voicing spots or producing telephone Messages-On-Hold, he's sitting in front of his two computers handling administrative chores, printing checks on his Mac while writing an MOH script or creating a new spot for a
brain-weary ad agency writer on an Gateway. He's also
the resident guru on selling and installing digital MOH repeaters.
Want to use some Little Rock on camera talent? Talk to
Dick. He can arrange to get them to you or he'll produce for you here: either a complete spot or just pre-production, saving you lots of time and money.
Want to kill some time? Ask Dick about his grandkids.
With Clyde, Dick was co-recipient of the Arkansas
Advertising Federation's "Distinguished Service Award" in 1991 and voted by the same group as "Advertising Person of the Year" in 1992.
Meet the ARCA Crew:
Alan Helms - Production Director
info@arcastudios.com
After Clyde, Alan is ARCA's Senior Sound Designer/ Editor/ Producer/ Director...as well as a voice talent. Alan grew up here. He started working at ARCA when we still used audio tape and reel to reel tape machines to record audio!!! Wow! This guy never lets anything fall through the cracks.
Speaking of cracks, are you having a bad day? Could you use a good laugh? Call Alan. Producers know they can depend on Alan for a great product, delivered when and where they need it...every time. And they know they can hear some silly voices and comedy routines at the same time.

Melissa Aguilar - Talent Coordinator/ Bookkeeper
info@arcastudios.com
Melissa does it all! Quite the juggler, Melissa takes your calls, books sessions, can help you cast talent, and is in charge of invoicing. She’s the one who keeps track of our talent pool, and makes sure you’ve got just the right voice for your production. She’s friendly and dependable (just like the rest of us). WHEW! It makes us tired just to watch! Let her pleasant voice guide you on your way to your phone patch session.

Jonathan Joyner - ARCA’s “Mr. Music”
Now living and working in “Music City USA” (we like to call it our “Nashville Branch”) Jonathan has access to a great pool of singers and pickers to make your next piece of custom music or jingle impress the pickiest of clients.
After you discuss your original music needs with Dick Marendt, Jonathan is the person who will next call you to discuss the finer points of your jingle or post score project. When library music just won’t cut it, Jonathan’s fertile brain will create it. This guy usually nails it the first time. In a hurry? Click here to download the Jingle Information Worksheet. |
